For the Wilson Foundation, the dancing flame of the candle embodies our mission: to foster greater access and acceptance of the arts, enhance community engagement, and promote health, wellness, resilience, and restoration.
About Us
The Wilson Foundation for the Performing Arts and Sciences (WFPAS) is a resource for strengthening participation and practice of the arts and sciences in the United States.
Our aim is to cultivate the development of emerging and existing talent to sustain the resiliency and well-being of the American people.
Our Priorities
We seek to create and support pathways for all communities to gain exposure and participate in exemplary arts and science education and training by implementing strategies that provide a greater understanding of the human condition.
Artist & Fellows
The Wilson Foundation designed the Artist-in-Residence program to exemplify and inform the foundation’s mission and priorities. The artist-in-residence is selected because of their demonstrated commitment to creating an inclusive environment for the performing arts.
